Quick & easy spread that as healthy as it is delicious!
Cook Time: 15 minutes
Serves: 2 to 3 people
2 whole ripe avocado
1 cup chevre
¼ cup walnuts
Salt and pepper to taste
Lemon juice to taste
Sesame and fresh dill to garnish
Extra virgin olive oil (optional)
All ingredients are available at Foodhall stores
- Dry roast the walnuts until they are warm and fragrant.
- In a food processor, combine the walnut with chevre and flesh of the ripe avocados. Blitz it to a smooth paste. Season with salt and pepper and add some lemon juice for acidity.
- If the mixture looks too coarse and lumpy, add a touch of olive oil to loosen up the mixture.
- Transfer into a bowl and serve alongside toast and additional garnishes like smoked salmon, caper, pickled onions, dill and sesame seeds.
