Basil Hummus
This simple recipe works like a charm at parties and should definitely be a part of your next soiree.

INGREDIENTS


150 gm chickpeas
2 tbsp olive oil
2-3 cloves garlic
4 tbsp tahini paste,
1 cup basil leaves
2 pinches paprika
Few ice cubes

METHOD


  1. Boil chickpeas until they soften. Peel the skin off.
  2. In a mixer, blitz together boiled, peeled chickpeas with basil leaves, olive oil, garlic cloves and tahini paste.
  3. After the mixture is smooth, add the ice cubes and grind some more.
  4. Remove and drizzle with lots of olive oil, sprinkle paprika and serve with pita bread.
