INGREDIENTS
150 gm chickpeas
2 tbsp olive oil
2-3 cloves garlic
4 tbsp tahini paste,
1 cup basil leaves
2 pinches paprika
Few ice cubes
METHOD
- Boil chickpeas until they soften. Peel the skin off.
- In a mixer, blitz together boiled, peeled chickpeas with basil leaves, olive oil, garlic cloves and tahini paste.
- After the mixture is smooth, add the ice cubes and grind some more.
- Remove and drizzle with lots of olive oil, sprinkle paprika and serve with pita bread.
