Chocolate Cranberry Cookies
Chocolate desserts are always a pleasure, add a little bit of cranberry and see this dessert disappear in minutes

INGREDIENTS


350 g butter
200 g caster sugar
450 g maida (all purpose flour)
15 g baking soda
7 g baking powder
150 g mini chocolate chips
150 g dried cranberry bits chopped
10 g ARQA Chinese five spice (Available at Foodhall)

METHOD


  1. In a mixing bowl, beat sugar and butter together until light and fluffy.
  2. Add the sifted flour, baking powder and soda, and 5 spice. Mix well.
  3. Add the chocolate chips and cranberry bits.
  4. Make 12-15 rounds of approximately the same size, flatten, and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 12-15 minutes, until lightly browned.
