Chocolate Ice cream Taco
Adults will enjoy it and the kids will love it, Amrita Rana shares a delicious recipe.

INGREDIENTS


2 scoops dark chocolate ice-cream
1 tbsp Nutella
1 tbsp toasted almonds
Sugar sprinkles for garnish
2 waffles

For the waffle
1 egg
1 cup flour
¾ cup milk
¼ cup vegetable oil
1 tsp sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla essence
Pinch of salt

METHOD


For the waffle

  1. Preheat the waffle iron. In a large bowl beat the egg with a hand beater until fluffy. Add flour, milk, vegetable oil, sugar, baking powder, salt and vanilla, and mix it just until smooth.
  2.  Brush some oil on the preheated waffle iron. Pour half of the mix onto hot waffle iron. Cook until slightly golden.
  3. Cook until the waffle is soft. Make two waffles using the same process. Set aside.
  4. To maintain a taco shape, heat the waffles in a  microwave  for 30 seconds; waffle will soften and flatten. Immediately mould waffle into a hard taco shell shape with your hands. Let it rest until set, about 2 minutes.

For the topping

  1. Slather some Nutella over the waffles. Add ice-cream scoops. Garnish with almonds and sugar sprinkles. Serve immediately.
