Do you love Sriracha? You'll love these chicken wings that have a beautiful sticky glaze.
2 tbsp baking powder
1 tbsp salt
1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 kg chicken wings
For honey sriracha glaze
1/3 cup honey
1/3 cup Sriracha
1 tbsp rice vinegar
¼ tsp sesame oil
1 tsp sesame seeds
All ingredients are available at Foodhall stores
- Preheat the oven to 220 ⁰C. Line a baking sheet with foil and place an oven-proof wire rack over the foil.
- Whisk baking powder, salt, pepper, and paprika together in a large bowl. Add the chicken wings to this spice mix and toss well. Make sure each wing is coated evenly with the spice mix.
- Place the spiced wings over the wire rack. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. Turn the wings and continue to bake for another 20 minutes. The wings should be brown and crispy by now. Transfer it to a large bowl.
- In another bowl, whisk together Sriracha, honey, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Drizzle this glaze over the baked chicken wings toss to coat them completely. Transfer the wings to a serving dish and sprinkle sesame seeds over it as garnish.
