Berries with Oatmeal & Nuts
  Fresh Berry Oatmeal with Nuts
Oats, berries and nuts makes this the perfect healthy breakfast!

INGREDIENTS


Steel Cut Oats                         1/2 cup

Water                                      3 cup

Fresh Coconut, grated            1 tbsp

Almond Milk                           1 cup

Maple Syrup or Honey                        1 tbsp

Chia Seeds                               1 tsp

Fresh Pomegranate seeds      2 tbsp

Almonds, slivered                   2 tsp

Flax Seeds                               1 tsp

Strawberry                              5-6 nos.

Blueberry                                handful

Blackberry                               4-5 nos.

Raspberry                                4-5 nos.

METHOD


  1. Cook the oats in water, on low heat and cover to simmer until the oats are cooked.

Take off the heat when cooked and add almond milk while they are still hot.

  1. Cool and mix well to remove all the lumps and add a little honey.
  2. Put the cooked oatmeal in a bowl and top it with all the assorted berries, pomegranate and almonds.
  3. Drizzle with honey if required and sprinkle grated coconut, flax and chia seeds on top.
