Hop onto the Bangkok Local

Team Foodhall

The flavours of Thailand are coming home to your nearest Foodhall store, where we’re celebrating this delicious Southeast Asian cuisine all this month. Have you explored our Bangkok Local yet?

The Thai cuisine is considered unique for its perfect blending of salty, sweet, sour, and spicy flavours. Here’s a snapshot of what you can look forward to when you drop in at Foodhall this June!

Kitchen Essentials

Stop by the On-the-go section and shop pantry staples that will help you recreate authentic Thai recipes at home. Pick up Thai-style sauces, dips and dressings like the Peanut Satay Sauce and the Sweet Chilli Dipping Sauce. And take home freshly ground Red, Green and Massaman Curry Pastes for fragrant, coconut milk curries.

Take home a bit of Thailand

Simple herbs like basil, lemongrass and kaffir lime leaves are the heroes behind surprisingly sophisticated Thai dishes. You’ll find them at our Thai Garden at the Farmer’s Market where you can also pick fresh Galangal, Thai Eggplants, Morning Glory and Bamboo Shoots to elevate your curries and stir-fries.

Take home DIY kits for Som Tam (Raw Papaya Salad), Yum Mamuang (Mango Salad), Khao Niew Mamuang (Mango Sticky Rice), Thai fresh fruit platters and tubs of Thai Guacamole with Rice Crackers.

And don’t forget to shop Thai Cocktail Nuts and Sesame Walnuts from the World of Nuts for those mid-meal cravings.

Eat Thai-style

Take a break at the Chef’s table and let an array of satays, dim sums, summer rolls and savoury cakes filled with everything from curried shrimp to tofu inspire you. Sip on refreshing Thai Galang-ale (a Basil, Kaffir Lime & Galangal Cooler) and end on a sweet note with Thai desserts like Sangkaya (Thai Coconut Custard) and Tab Tim Grob (‘Red Rubies’ in Coconut Milk).

Buns & Coffee

Take a glass of creamy, chilled Thai Iced Coffee over to the Bakery and pair it with our luscious Thai Custard & Matcha Custard Buns. Or switch it up with one of our fusion Thai Pav Bhaji Buns.

Enjoy the vibrant flavours of Thailand at Foodhall and come back for more!
