  Mushroom Duxelles
There are days when you just want an easy stir fry, the simplest and most comforting of foods. Chef KshamaPrabhu shares a flavourful and simple mushroom stir fry dish. It can be a tasty entrée, a great stuffing or a filling meal when paired with a couple of slices of crusty bread.
Cook Time: 20 minutes

Serves: 2 - 3 people

INGREDIENTS


10 pcs button mushrooms,  chopped
½ red onion, chopped 
2 sprigs thyme
Salt and cracked black pepper to taste

All ingredients are available at Foodhall stores

METHOD


1. In a pan sauté the onions, then add thyme.
2. Add the chopped mushrooms to the above.
3. Finish by adding salt and pepper.
4. One can use the filling to stuff mushroom or as an accompaniment to the good old beef steak.
