No fuss breakfast that is as tasty as it is delicious
1 large ripe banana, mashed (about ½ cup)
¼ cup creamy peanut butter
1 cup gluten-free rolled oats
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 tbsp chia seeds (optional)
½ tsp vanilla extract
½ tsp cinnamon powder
1 tsp light agave syrup or honey
All ingredients are available at Foodhall stores
- In a medium bowl, mash the banana with a fork.
- Add in the peanut butter, rolled oats, almond milk, chia seeds, vanilla, honey (or agave) and cinnamon powder. Mix well until combined.
- Pour the mixture into two airtight containers and leave it in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours or overnight.
- When ready to eat, give the oats a good stir, and garnish with a spoonful of peanut butter, frozen berries, fresh berries, and walnuts.
