2 cups mineral water
1 cup Arqa Rose Petals
2 cups castor sugar
2 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp fruit pectin
All ingredients are available at Foodhall stores
- In a saucepan, bring water and Arqa Rose Petals to a gentle simmer for about 10 minutes. Add half the sugar and mix till it dissolves completely.
- Add lemon juice and allow cooking for two more minutes. In a separate bowl, mix together remaining sugar with fruit pectin.
- Sprinkle in small amounts of this mix into the simmering pot so that the pectin doesn’t clump together. Simmer for 20 more minutes.
- Take it off the heat and let it cool completely before storing in a glass jar. It stays good for up to two months in the fridge.
